Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains the payment methods we accept, when you are charged, how taxes and currency are handled, and what to expect for refunds, chargebacks, pre-orders, and subscriptions.

1) Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment types (availability may vary by country and device):

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and other card brands supported by our processor.

  • Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay.

  • Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL): If shown at checkout (e.g., Shop Pay Installments), subject to the BNPL provider’s terms.

  • Store Credit / Gift Cards: Urbanravens gift cards and store credit, where applicable.

We do not accept cash, checks, or wire transfers for online orders.

2) Authorization & When You’re Charged

  • Card & Wallet Payments: We obtain an authorization at checkout. Your card is generally charged when your order is accepted. For split shipments, we may capture payment separately as items ship.

  • BNPL: Your agreement is with the BNPL provider; payment timing and fees are set by that provider.

  • Pre-Orders & Backorders: We may authorize at checkout and capture when the item ships. If capture occurs earlier, we’ll state it during checkout.

  • If an authorization fails or later declines, we’ll ask you to update your payment method. Orders without valid payment may be canceled.

3) Pricing, Currency & Taxes

  • Prices shown at checkout are in USD unless otherwise indicated. Currency conversions, if offered, are provided by our payment processor or your card issuer.

  • Taxes, shipping, and any applicable import duties are shown at checkout where feasible. For international orders, you may be responsible for customs and local taxes on delivery if not collected at checkout.

  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors (see our Terms). If a correction affects your order, we’ll notify you and give you the option to proceed or cancel.

4) Fraud Screening & Verification

  • We use automated and manual fraud detection (e.g., AVS/CVV checks and 3D Secure where available).

  • We may hold, cancel, or request additional verification (such as a billing address confirmation) if activity appears suspicious. This is to protect you and Urbanravens from unauthorized use.

5) Subscriptions & Recurring Charges (if offered)

  • For any subscription product, you authorize us to automatically charge your saved payment method at the interval shown at purchase.

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account or by contacting us before the next billing date. Charges already processed for the current term are typically non-refundable unless required by law or stated on the product page.

6) Refunds

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

  • Once processed by us, most refunds post within 10 business days (bank/issuer timelines may vary).

  • If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund, contact us at support@urbanravens.com.

7) Promotions, Gift Cards & Store Credit

  • Promo codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be combined unless stated. Promotions may have product, date, or location limits.

  • Gift cards and store credit:

    • Treated like cash at checkout on eligible items.

    • Not reloadable or redeemable for cash (except where required by law).

    • Lost or stolen gift cards may not be replaced—please treat them like cash.

8) Partial Orders, Split Shipments & Multiple Charges

  • If your order ships in parts, you may see separate charges for each shipment.

  • If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we will cancel that item and refund any related charge.

9) Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

  • If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first so we can investigate and resolve quickly.

  • Filing a chargeback before contacting us may delay resolution. We provide documentation to your issuer for any disputed transactions.

10) Security

  • Our checkout uses encrypted connections (TLS/SSL).

  • Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers (including Shopify Payments and/or integrated gateways).

  • We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

11) Order Limits & Compliance

  • We may limit or cancel quantities per person, household, or order.

  • All purchases must comply with local laws and our Terms of Service.
